The Story Behind this Piece

Al Ghayb Veil of Shadows

Where shadows swirl like whispered secrets of doubt.
A restless wind wails, weaving the fabric of my soul,
And I stand beneath a darkened, starless sky,
A fragile vesse  adrift in the storm of the unseen.

The divine flame flickers, a fragile, trembling star
A lonely ember glowing in the vast velvet void,
Guiding softly through veils of vapour and silence,
Its light concealed behind curtains of clouded shadow.
A luminous secret in the theater of darkness,
Yet burning brightly in the belly of the night’s abyss.

Yet, before me, a visage blooms

A sacred silhouette kissed by moonlight’s tender touch,
A face of delicate grace and divine resolve
Where shadow and shimmer entwine in divine dance.
Her closed eyes, pools of profound peace,
Hold the hush of surrender, a silent prayer echoing in the chambers of my chest.

Yet, I  reach into the darkness

My trembling hands, like leaves torn by tempests
Feeling the cool caress of uncertainties,
A voiceless void unraveling my resolve
“Is this trust but a transient illusion,
A mirage mirroring my restless, riotous doubts?”

Yet, my pulse persists

A persistent percussion in the depths of my desire.
A stubborn, steady drumbeat of devotion.
A flickering candle battling a blanket of black.
An ember’s glow glowing in the infinite night.

Yet, in my final surrender

That fragile flicker ignites into dawn’s glorious glow.
Illuminating sacred secrets sleeping within my soul.
Where divine love, unseen but unending, dwells.
A luminous legacy beyond the veils,
Etched in the eternal silence of midnight’s mercy.Al Ghayb

MEANING OVER MIMICRY

Every piece is a mirror, not a decoration.

I did not return to art to copy the world for the sake of a pretty picture. I returned to give voice to the emotions we all carry but rarely express.

To me, art must have a soul. This work was created as a visceral narrative of resilience — colours and forms intentionally designed to act as a mirror for your own transformation.

You aren't staring at paint you are submerged in a state of self-discovery.
