The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea. - Isak Dinesen

Losing my parents within 12 days was the most painful experience of my life. It felt like they took a piece of me with them, leaving a void that could never be filled.

But amidst the pain, I also discovered unexpected gifts. I learned the importance of living authentically, of cherishing every moment, and of letting go of what I cannot control.

I also learnt who was truly there for me and who wasn't. This has been the most heart breaking element but as least it gave me an understanding. It’s allowed me to create new boundaries and know my worth.

It has also taught me the importance of self-compassion. Navigating the emotional rollercoaster of grief requires immense strength and resilience.

What lessons have you learnt during the grieving process?
